Diatom Database now available.

For the last four years I have been accumulating a database of species images from over 60 publications. With the permission of the original authors (where this has been possible) I am now able to make this database available to others.
The Database and the accompanying image software are supplied on a CD-ROM and simple setup instructions will soon have you up and running. The software is PC based.

CDs of publications of interest to Diatomists

A new venture is the issue, on CD, of publications from the past that are of particular interest to diatomists.
The publications chosen are those that are either rare or at least hard to come by, and are referenced by many modern publications when citing authorities.
The CDs contents are in HTML format and are thus accesible to anyone who has a browser installed on their system. If you are reading this on screen then you have the technology!
